| STANDARDS OF CARE |

-
Professional Standards of Care: Professional experts are the most common source of information on whether an acceptable standard of care was met in malpractice cases. However, experts may be biased or unreliable. A better way is to survey peer-group professionals.
- Surveys are Applicable to a Wide Range of Professionals: Engineers; Architects; Medical Professionals (MDs, Dentists, Chiropractors); Mental Health Professionals (Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychotherapists, Psychiatrists, Marriage and Family Counselors); Educators (Teachers, Professors, Coaches).
- Parental Standards: Standards of care by non-professionals are often at issue, e.g., parents.
- Assessing and Supporting your Case: Surveys are useful for a plaintiff's attorney to assess the strength of a case.
- Multiple Survey Methodologies Produce Affordable, Representative and Timely Information: We can assess standard of care through either internet-based, telephone, or mailed surveys.
-
Is the public hostile towards you client? Has publicity made it impossible for a fair, unbiased trial? A survey can assess the public?s awareness of a crime or civil injury.
-
How good is the evidence in your case? Surveys can be used to assess the likelihood of potential jurors acting on evidence.
-
Intellectual Property: Intellectual property litigation is another area in which survey research plays a major role in determining consumer confusion, trademark disparagement and dilution.
